As to Kyle Petty – LOVE IT! I’m sorry I missed 2 years of RaceDay & VL for so long. But I’m sure it wasn’t the same pre-Kyle Petty.
And I agree Dave, J.R. seems more relaxed and actually WANTS to be there.
Is Weber still in Tarpon Springs? I know he got married a year ago, and I knew where he lived a couple years ago, but sounds like his life has taken a major turn.

You taped this before the announcement of Adam Alexander replacing Weber. The guys from MRN was very happy for his ‘promotion.’
Smokey & Jake – DEFINITELY in the HoF! I so wish Smokey’s “Best Damn Garage” could be included as well. But its basically nothing now, sitting in downtown Daytona. However, Big Bill’s gas station is still there. Last time I went by, it was a biker hang out, with all the original signs still posted outside.
Chad’s not ‘cheating’ now. That last suspension took care of that issue. PLUS, he realized, they don’t need to do it.
Kari is playing fantasy???? Need to mention that to her on Facebook. SWEET!
I went to Atlanta in late ’80s, early ’90s before the reconfiguration and repaving. IMO, the racing was better then. But I might change my mind if I ever get back up there again.
As a Steve Park & Dale Jr fan, I remember both too well. Wish Steve was still racing in Cup.
Only comment I have re: Danica on Trackside….looked like a bunch of middle-age men drooling over a stripper. And that is a subject that could be talked about for a while. If you do GoDaddy commercials, should you not expect to be treated as such?

Re: picks for ATL. I was picking Harvick, but after qual, I’m taking Jr…..to push his dad’s other car across the finish line, as he did Jamie’s DEI car in Daytona. Harvick @ ATL w/ Jr 2nd.
