Jimmie’s golf cart rodeo was about 20 miles from me in Inverness.
Denny couldn’t do the NASCAR Nite @ CLT Bobcats vs ORL Magic. But its his left knee, so far, okay. Yeah right. Don’t tell me that won’t affect the outcome of the race. If you’re not 100%, you’re not 100%.

THAT IS BUTTER!? I kept asking on twitter what the hell was Butter. @Mike88 (Jr’s spotter) keeps making references, as well as other. DAMN. And guess what. My 52nd birthday is Feb. 26……OMG, you know I call my car Monte…..SWEET!
I was in Daytona today discussing w/ friends about celebrating my 52nd birthday on 2/26 @ the Courtyard. And now you want me to got to Jax. If I can get a room for $68/nite, I’m there. However, I might pick up my friends in Gainesville, who are also NASCAR/Jr fans, we might make it there. BUT….Daytona, looking over turn 3 & 4 is pretty damn cool. Need to find out the date. Things might change. Holy shit!
Dave – Monte & I know the entire state. And I’m over here on the west coast, the fatest part of Florida.

Make to important NASCAR news: Darby (IMO- promotion my ass) – Pistol Pete & Bagley were concerned when first announced. I believe it was Bags that said Darby would live at the track if he could. After watching Darby’s reply to someone @ the press confernce, it didn’t seem like he was happy about the “promotion.” (this brings up a blog I’ve been thinking about)
Evernham? Gary Nelson? @GNAnow (twitter) – Gary Nelson & Kirk Shelmerdine were my favorite crew chiefs.
