Let’s kick this season in the ass.
I like the bump w/reservations.
My main reservation is that they allow the inexperienced into PLATE races (and especially Daytona) that have no fucking idea what a bump draft is/was. W/the plates these guys will play ping pong down the track.
Notes on the wing and spoiler: No shit it gets better front grip and turns better w/the spoiler. With the wing, the cow catcher (CC) up front is needed to balance the rear wing wanting to lift the front. Well, in a perfect world it works. But, cars bounce and wind tunnels don’t. The spoiler has a better front to rear balance. The lesser total rear d-force makes a better car. On to the next segment.

Dave, keep hearing the 4″ lowering, but never heard confirmed. Didn’t know new tire compound w/ wing. Guess I don’t listen/read as much as I should….back to listening to Dave/Mark….
There are A LOT of teams at Disney. Followed Twitter as well. Heard promo w/ TMD @ Media Tour of which JPM didn’t care about wing or no wing. He’s done both.
Mark, did you see tweet from Pockrass or Nate Ryan? Tweet read: What driver will excel with wing? The answer was a link to a picture of the 88 Amp.
Re: cars lined up on a restrictor plate track. Bagley was the first one that said this morning, on my way to Daytona. When cars are lined up, the anticipation of seeing who will pull out, who will follow, and how long will it take to make it 3-wide again……and now time for seg 2

I am so hyped for raceing to start. I will be home for the entire speedweek. I do have to take one day off away from the racing to take my wife out for Valetines Day (got to keep the boss happy).
