I might have an advantage answering this question. With all the rain and extremely cold weather in Florida, ALL ROADS are experiencing potholes. Within the past 6 months, I’ve driven from Brooksville, to Ft. Myers, to Orlando, to Daytona Beach and Gainesville. There is not a road in this state that does not have issues.
Considering the circumstances, I thought NASCAR did the best they could. There’s been a lot worse. Just sucks that it happened to be the Daytona 500.
Unless the asphalt can be something other than a slick surface (aka Talladega), leave it alone.
